I tried this hole cutter on one hole and the drill grabbed so much and tried to spin me in the other direction that as soon as the hole was done I tossed the hole cutter into the trash. Get one of the deep slot hole cutters like the Big Hawg or the Blue Boar TCT with 3 or more teeth and the cutting action is a lot smoother and safer and you don't need as much drill power. This hole cutter might be OK on a pilar drill but not anything hand held.
